Girl, 2 Adults Injured In Blaze At Stone Mountain House: Reports

A girl suffered smoke inhalation in a fire that injured two other people at a DeKalb County home.

STONE MOUNTAIN, GA — A girl was among three people injured in a house fire Monday in the 400 block of Rays Road, media reports say.

The blaze erupted around 4:30 a.m. When crews arrived, fire officials were told a person remained inside the home, WXIA-TV reported.

Firefighters found a woman suffering from smoke inhalation in the home, the news outlet reported.

The fire critically injured the woman, and a man suffered burns to the hand, WANF-TV reported.

A girl who escaped before first responders arrived suffered smoke inhalation and was taken to a hospital, WXIA-TV reported.
