Send IL Patch Your 4th Of July Pet Pics For A Chance To Get Featured

Throughout the United States, people will be celebrating Fourth of July with barbecues, pool parties and fireworks. But no backyard party is complete without a dog decked out in red, white and blue. We're asking Illinois readers to send in photos of their pets in their most patriotic attire. We'll choose our favorites for our 2026 Patriotic Pets Roundup.

Here's how to submit your photos.

1. Email a patriotic pet photo you took to lisa.farver@patch.com.

2. Include the subject line Patriotic Pets.

3. Include permission for Patch to share and use the photo.

4. Deadline is June 30 at 5 p.m .

Your Patch editor will handle the painstaking task of admiring each pet photo and assembling them into an article that will be published for Fourth of July.
