Aggravated Battery To Officers, Drug Possession Among Arlington Heights Arrests
Police also reported five DUI arrests, along with battery, theft, property damage and criminal trespass charges.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — The following information comes from the Arlington Heights Police Department and court records as a record of police activity, including arrests made by officers. Criminal charges represent accusations by the state and may be dropped or reduced. Everyone arrested is presumed innocent unless proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
AGGRAVATED BATTERY TO POLICE
Jayvon M. Soares, 33, who was listed as homeless, was arrested July 30 in Streamwood and charged with two counts of aggravated battery to a peace officer.
The charges allege minor injuries without the use of a dangerous weapon. Soares was cited and released pending an Aug. 4 court appearance in Rolling Meadows.

CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE, DUI CHARGES
Myeong Yoon, 47, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 30 in the 600 block of East Rand Road.
Yoon was charged with possession of a controlled substance, driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of at least .08, driving under the influence of drugs and driving under the combined influence of alcohol and other intoxicating substances.

He was cited and released pending an Aug. 4 court date in Rolling Meadows.
DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE
Albina Krasnikova, 30, of Palatine, was arrested July 28 near Rand and Palatine roads and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of at least .08.
She was cited and released pending a Sept. 1 court date.
Cristian E. Lacagnina, 21, of Des Plaines, was arrested July 26 near Arlington Heights Road and Lynwood Drive.
Lacagnina was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood-alcohol concentration of at least .08. He was cited and released pending a Sept. 9 court date.
Toni Palese, 61, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 29 in the 500 block of West Wing Street and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
She was cited and released pending an Aug. 18 court date.
Gentijan Perfundil, 40, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 29 in the 300 block of North Kaspar Avenue and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was cited and released pending a Sept. 1 court date.
Daniel C. Romero, 25, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 24 in the 4200 block of North Arlington Heights Road and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol.
He was cited and released pending a Sept. 1 court date.
THEFT AND PROPERTY DAMAGE
Cody M. Pugsley, 40, of Arlington Heights, was arrested July 28 in the 400 block of West Algonquin Road.
Pugsley was charged with theft involving property valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000 and criminal damage to property.
He was cited and released pending an Aug. 7 court date in Rolling Meadows.
BATTERY
Amanda Lopez, 23, of Palatine, was arrested July 25 in the 100 block of North Vail Avenue and charged with battery involving physical contact.
She was cited and released pending an Aug. 18 court date.
CRIMINAL TRESPASS
Maurice Fulth, 26, who was listed as homeless, was arrested July 26 in the 100 block of West Campbell Street and charged with criminal trespass to real property.
He was cited and released and assigned an Aug. 11 adjudication date.
