Arlington Heights Students Honored At Miami, Carthage, Ole Miss

Miami University
OXFORD, OH — Miami University conferred more than 4,500 degrees on May 16 at Yager Stadium as part of its 2026 Spring Commencement ceremony.

Miami University also announced students who were named to the Dean’s List for the spring 2026 semester. Students ranked in the top 20 percent of undergraduate students within each division were named to the list.

Carthage College
KENOSHA, WI — Carthage College announced students named to the Spring 2026 Dean’s List in recognition of outstanding academic achievement.
Dean’s List honors are accorded to Carthage students who achieve a minimum 3.5 grade-point average while carrying at least 12 letter-graded credits in a given semester.
The following Arlington Heights students were named to the Dean’s List:

- Jaden Swanson
- Annie Loring
- Blaike Mertes
- Mackenzie Pielin

University of Mississippi
UNIVERSITY, MS — The University of Mississippi announced students named to its Spring 2026 Honor Roll lists.
The Chancellor’s Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.75 to 4.00. The following Arlington Heights students were named to the Chancellor’s Honor Roll:
- Breckan Lindsey, who is in the B.S. in Integrated Marketing Communications program
- Ashley Linscott, who is in the B.Accy. in Accountancy program
- Noelle Onischuk, who is in the B.A.Ed. in Elementary Education program
- Jake Linscott, who is in the B.B.A. in Finance program
The Dean’s Honor Roll is reserved for students who earn a semester GPA of 3.50 to 3.74. The following Arlington Heights students were named to the Dean’s Honor Roll:
- Lucas Greazel, who is in the B.S.M.E. in Mechanical Engineering program
- Delaney Grove, who is in the B.A.J. in Journalism program
- Matthew Voris, who is in the B.A. in Sport Management program
To be eligible for honor roll designation, a student must have completed at least 12 graded hours for the semester and may not be on academic probation
University of Missouri
COLUMBIA, MO — Charlie Dahlgren, of Arlington Heights, graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and the Honors College.
Dahlgren earned academic honors for his work reporting news on “Morning Edition” with Columbia’s NPR station, writing for the Columbia Missourian newspaper, and promoting bands and creating music experiences through his work with The Music Factory.
Dahlgren is now employed by Kraft Heinz as an official Hotdogger, driving the Wienermobile across the country as an ambassador for the company.
