Home Invasion Charges, Street Racing: Arlington Heights Police Blotter

Police also reported DUI, domestic battery, burglary and retail theft arrests in the latest blotter.

ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, IL — Home invasion charges, two street racing arrests and several domestic battery cases are among the arrests reported in the latest Arlington Heights Police Department blotter.

The following information comes from Arlington Heights Police Department reports. An arrest does not constitute a finding of guilt.

Retail Theft

Jonathan D. Townsend, 27, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 7:03 p.m. Sept. 4, in the 500 block of North Dunton Avenue and charged with retail theft. He was scheduled for a Sept. 28 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Driving On Suspended License

Jesus Lopez, 43, of Goodyear, Arizona, was arrested at 10:13 a.m. Sept. 5, in the 300 block of North Ridge Avenue and charged with driving on a suspended license. He was cited and released and was scheduled for a Sept. 25 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Street Racing

Anna Onufrichuk, 24, of Palatine, was arrested at 3:46 a.m. Sept. 6, near Arlington Heights and Rand roads and charged with street racing and speeding 35 mph or more over the limit. She was cited and released and was scheduled for a Sept. 25 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Snizhana Pavlovych, 30, of Chicago, was arrested at 3:46 a.m. Sept. 6, near Arlington Heights and Rand roads and charged with street racing and speeding 35 mph or more over the limit. She was cited and released and was scheduled for a Sept. 25 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Domestic Battery

Mohammad A. Omaynat, 35, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 10:10 p.m. Sept. 6, at the Arlington Heights Police Department, 200 E. Sigwalt St., and charged with domestic battery involving bodily harm. A detention hearing was scheduled for Sept. 11 in Rolling Meadows.

Violation Of Order Of Protection

Luis E. Gonzalez Herrera, 28, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 1:26 a.m. Sept. 8, in the 800 block of West Central Road and charged with violating an order of protection. A detention hearing was scheduled, with a Sept. 25 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Criminal Trespass

Michael K. Mitchell, 42, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 7:31 p.m. Sept. 8, at 1901 S. Arlington Heights Road and charged with criminal trespass to real property/state-supported land. He was cited and released and was scheduled for an Oct. 13 court date.

Theft

Lona R. Brandt, 39, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 1:58 p.m. Sept. 9, in the 500 block of West Rand Road and charged with theft involving property valued at less than $500. She was cited and released and was scheduled for an Oct. 13 court date.

Home Invasion

Antonio M. Kolessar, 28, of Riverview, Florida, was arrested at 2:46 p.m. Sept. 9, at 10000 Bessie Coleman Drive in Chicago.

Police records list three counts of home invasion involving a dangerous weapon, three counts of home invasion causing injury, three counts of aggravated unlawful restraint and three counts of aggravated battery involving use of a deadly weapon other than a firearm.

A detention hearing was scheduled, with a Sept. 30 court date in Rolling Meadows.

DUI

Thomas R. Kuter, 43, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 3:26 p.m. Sept. 9, at 111 E. Thomas St. and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and DUI with a blood-alcohol concentration of .08 or more. He was cited and released and was scheduled for a Sept. 28 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Burglary

Mario Zendejas, 32, of Rolling Meadows, was arrested at 6:04 p.m. Sept. 10, at 2310 Algonquin Road in Rolling Meadows and charged with burglary to a motor vehicle. He was cited and released and was scheduled for a Sept. 15 court date in Rolling Meadows.

Domestic Battery

Dennis R. White, 41, of Arlington Heights, was arrested at 10:33 p.m. Sept. 10, at the Arlington Heights Police Department and charged with domestic battery involving bodily harm. A detention hearing was scheduled for Sept. 11 in Rolling Meadows.
