Missing 13-Year-Old Boy Sought In Mount Prospect

Alexy Schroeter was last seen late Monday near Lions Park after leaving home on foot, police said.

MOUNT PROSPECT, IL — Police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 13-year-old boy who was last seen late Monday near Lions Park.

Alexy Schroeter was last seen around 11:30 p.m. after leaving home on foot near Lions Park, according to the Mount Prospect Police Department.

Police said Schroeter is about 4 feet, 11 inches tall and weighs about 90 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray T-shirt and gray shorts.

Schroeter has been diagnosed with a mild intellectual disability, police said.

Anyone who has seen Alexy or has information about where he may be is asked to call 911 or contact the Mount Prospect Police Department at 847-870-5656.
