East Aurora High School Students Earn Record-Breaking Seal Of Biliteracy Honors
This year, 88 graduating East Aurora High School seniors earned the Seal of Biliteracy, representing 10 percent of the Class of 2026.

AURORA, IL — D131 is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievement of the East Aurora High School students who have earned the Seal of Biliteracy, a distinction that recognizes proficiency in two or more languages and highlights the district’s commitment to multilingualism and global readiness.
This year, 88 graduating seniors earned the Seal of Biliteracy, representing 10% of the Class of 2026. In addition, students continue to build toward this prestigious recognition, with 138 total awards granted, including those who received the Commendation toward the Seal of Biliteracy, representing 5% of the senior class.

These accomplishments contribute to a building-wide cumulative total of 357 Seal of Biliteracy recognitions, marking a new East Aurora High School record!
The Seal of Biliteracy not only celebrates students’ linguistic skills but also prepares them for success in college, careers, and an increasingly interconnected world. EAHS applauds these students for their hard work, perseverance, and commitment to excellence.
