Shooting Reported On Downer Place: Aurora Police
Residents and drivers should avoid the area while the investigation is underway, police urged.
AURORA, IL — A shooting was reported Friday morning in the 2000 block of West Downer Place, Aurora police said.
Officers were on the scene of the incident as of 9:47 a.m. Portions of the area may be temporarily restricted while police investigate, according to an alert.
"Residents and motorists are asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes if possible," officials said.
