Batavia Avenue Traffic To Be Impacted By Water Service Repairs

BATAVIA, IL — Traffic on a section of South Batavia Avenue will be impacted beginning Monday due to water service replacements.

The project requires intermittent lane shifts and flagger-controlled traffic between Morton and First streets, the city said in an alert on Facebook. Construction is planned during the daytime hours.

Delays are expected through the area, and drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes during construction.

Officials did not say how long the project is expected to last.
