1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Morgan Park Shooting

The three men were discovered with gunshot wounds near 110th Street and Longwood Avenue.

CHICAGO — A man was killed, and two others injured in Morgan Park Wednesday evening near Bohn Park, Chicago police said.

The shooting unfolded just after 8:30 p.m. in the 11000 block of South Longwood where police responded to a call of a person shot. 22nd District officers found three men with gunshot wounds.

Chicago fire crews arrived on the scene and began treating the victims. All three were transported to Advocate Christ Medical Center. A 28-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the back was pronounced deceased at the hospital.

He was identified at Vincent Quindon, 28, by the Cook County Medical Center. The incident address noted the 10900 block of South Homewood Avenue, where officers were reportedly seen establishing a second crime scene nearby at Prospect and Homewood avenues.

An adult male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his body where he is listed in critical condition.

Another 28-year-old man was shot in the foot and listed in good condition.

Area Two detectives are investigating. No one is in custody.
