Bolingbrook's 42nd Annual Village Picnic Set For June 28

The annual picnic includes games, local vendors and organizations, and an art expo.

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Village of Bolingbrook will hold its 42nd annual Village Picnic on June 28, from noon to 5 p.m. behind Town Center, 375 W. Briarcliff Road.

The event "is a wonderful opportunity to connect with local organizations, discover community services, and celebrate everything that makes Bolingbrook special," according to event organizers.

There will be free hot dogs, an art expo, Bingo, fishing derby, free egg toss contest, scavenger hunt, farm petting zoo, face and henna painting, pony rides and more.

For those 55 and older, there is also a senior tent, sponsored by the Non-Profit Coalition (NPC) and The Village of Bolingbrook. Seniors will get free lunch, giveaways, blood pressure screenings and more. Senior tent hours are from noon to 4 p.m. Pre-registration is required for lunch: bit.ly/4sWKIg6
