Food Pantry Pop Up this Weds., 2 p.m.
DuPage Township holding three summer pop ups through August at 241 Canterbury Lane in Bolingbrook
The DuPage Township is holding a pop-up food pantry in the middle of township borders.
“The current pantry is tucked in the southernmost portion of the township,” said Township Supervisor Lori Marschke. "While the new food pantry is under construction, we wanted to bring the pantry closer to more township residents.”
The pop-up is Wednesday, July 22 from 2-3:45 p.m. at Township headquarters, 241 Canterbury Lane, Bolingbrook.

It will be first-come/first-served and will include a variety of shelf stable products and dried grains. Food pantry staff will also be on hand to register pantry clients and to provide other resources. Thanks to a partnership with Northern Illinois Food Bank. the food pantry is providing groceries specifically for the pop up.
The next two pop ups are Aug. 12 and 26.
DuPage Township’s Food Pantry, 719 Parkwood Ave, Romeoville, offers in-store shopping on Tuesdays and Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Saturdays from 9-11 a.m.

The future food pantry is at 400 Lily Cache Lane, at the corner of Canterbury and Lily Cache lanes in Bolingbrook.
