No One Injured After Fire At Bolingbrook Apartment Complex: Fire Dept.
The affected wing of the building was under renovation and was unoccupied, so no residents will be displaced, the department said.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — No one was injured after a fire at the Greenleaf apartment complex at 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, the Bolingbrook Fire Department said in a news release.
The department responded for an activated fire alarm, and while units were en route, additional 911 callers reported visible fire within the building, prompting an upgraded response, the department said.
Crews found a fire in one apartment unit, and worked quickly to extinguish it. Damage from the fire was contained to the unit of origin, and did not extend into adjacent areas, according to the department.
