Two New Businesses Opening In July In Bolingbrook
A new restaurant and a new pickleball facility will soon open in Bolingbrook.
BOLINGBROOK, IL — Two new businesses will be opening soon in Bolingbrook. At its Tuesday Board meeting, the Bolingbrook Village Board granted liquor licenses for Italian restaurant Gia Mia, and for Picklr, an indoor pickleball facility.
"We are very excited to welcome both Gia Mia and Picklr to Bolingbrook. These additions will bring new dining and recreational opportunities to our residents and visitors while further enhancing Bolingbrook as a destination location," Mayor Mary Alexander-Basta told Patch.
Gia Mia will open by early July at 619 E. Boughton Road, Unit A, in the former Bar Louie space.

Gia Mia's menu items include wood-fired Neapolitan style pizzas, pasta, small plates, salads and desserts. The restaurant has locations in Downers Grove, Elmhurst, Geneva, Lombard, Naperville, St. Charles and Wheaton.
Picklr is set to open by mid-July at 111 S. Weber Road. Listed amenities include courts, outdoor surfacing, AI coaching, pro shop, private event areas, league play, and tournaments and drop-in play.
