69 grants were announced for a total over $80,000 for VVSD schools

BOLINGBROOK, IL — The Valley View Educational Enrichment Foundation has completed its annual Grant application and approval process for the 2026-2027 School year and has approved funding for 61 Grant applications requesting $70,900. The Foundation also worked with District 365-U Valley View School District Administration to secure funding for an additional eight grant applications requesting $14,300, the Foundation shared in a news release.

In total, the Foundation received 86 grant applications requesting $106,600 from 15 of 22 of the District’s Educational Facilities, the Foundation said. The VVSD Board of Education accepted funds from the Foundation at its May 11 meeting.

"We are truly honored to have been able to support the inspirational educators of the Valley View School District who designed and deliver these programs that go above and beyond the excellent curriculum offered by the District," President of the Foundation, Mike Lawler, said in a release. “This funding would not have been possible without generous financial support from businesses, organizations, and individuals in our communities who have supported the Foundation since its inception in November 1994."
