ID Of 68-Year-Old Man Found Dead Near Airport Released: Cook County Medical Examiner
Police discovered the man's body along a fence line at Chicago Executive Airport Sunday while responding to an unconscious person report.
WHEELING, IL — The identity of a body discovered by police Sunday along a fence line near Chicago Executive Airport has been released. The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office said the deceased is John Folan, 68, of Prospect Heights.
A cause of death has not been released pending the results of an autopsy.
WGN-TV is reporting Prospect Heights police responded to the airport at 79 E. Palatine Frontage Road at around 9 a.m. for reports of an unconscious man along the airport's fence line. He was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene.

A preliminary investigation has revealed the man may have been hit by a vehicle, according to the media outlet.
Motorists were being asked to avoid several closed roads while an investigation was being conducted, according to the Wheeling Police Department.
