DUI Arrest Rate Low In Burr Ridge Compared To Other Towns: Study
An anti-DUI group examined drunken-driving statistics in towns across the state.

The Burr Ridge Police Department's DUI arrest rate is still on the low side compared to nearby towns, according to a new study.
In 2025, Burr Ridge counted 27 DUI arrests, which works out to 0.8 per officer, according to the Alliance Against Intoxicated Motorists. During the previous year, Burr Ridge reported 18 DUI arrests.
The study listed the two six officers who made DUI arrests in 2025: Sergio Zuniga (4), David Jeffrey (3), Joseph Mondala (3), Michael Firnsin (2), Matthew Overton (2) and Mark Strappazon (1).
