Ex-Burr Ridge Mayor Dies, Served 3 Terms
The former official is respected "for all the service he gave to the village for many years," the current mayor said.

BURR RIDGE, IL – Former Burr Ridge Mayor Emil "Bud" Coglianese, who was at the helm for three terms in the 1980s and 1990s, died on Friday, officials said.
Mayor Gary Grasso informed the Village Board of the news at its meeting Monday. He said Burr Ridge respects Coglianese "for all the service he gave to the village for many years."
Coglianese's wake is set for July 22, with the funeral service a day later, according to the village.

Coglianese's obituary could not be found online Tuesday.
He served as mayor from 1981 to 1989 and from 1993 to 1997. He was a village trustee before that.
