Momma Sue's Blessing Day
BatteryJack, Inc. and Community Partners Join Forces for Momma Sue's Turkey Blessing Day
MINOOKA, IL — This Thanksgiving season, the spirit of giving is bringing local businesses together for a special cause. BatteryJack, Inc., along with several generous community partners, is proud to present Momma Sue's Turkey Blessing Day, a heartfelt effort to provide free Thanksgiving turkeys to local families.
The event will take place on Sunday, November 22, 2026, beginning at noon at Aces Garage Bar and Grill in Minooka, Illinois.
With a simple but meaningful message — "First Come, First Blessed!" — families are invited to stop by and receive a free frozen turkey while supplies last.
Local Businesses Making a Difference
What makes Momma Sue's Turkey Blessing Day especially meaningful is the support of local businesses that believe in taking care of their neighbors.
Aces Garage Bar and Grill has generously stepped forward to host the event, providing a welcoming location where the community can come together. Their support is an important part of making this special day possible.
Fat Boyz Pizza and Stuff, a longtime local business, is proudly joining the effort. After serving the community for many years, Fat Boyz is excited to give back this holiday season by helping provide Thanksgiving turkeys to local families.
The Hive Kitchen is also showing its commitment to the community by partnering with BatteryJack, Inc. Their participation reflects the importance of local businesses supporting the families and neighborhoods that support them throughout the year.
Ridge Chiropractor Center has joined the community partnership as well, helping demonstrate that businesses of all kinds can make a difference when they work together for a common cause.
Together, these businesses are helping turn a simple act of kindness into a meaningful Thanksgiving blessing.
A Turkey on Every Table, a Blessing in Every Home
The goal of Momma Sue's Turkey Blessing Day is simple: to make Thanksgiving a little brighter for local families.
Organizers hope to provide 200 frozen turkeys, weighing approximately 12–14 pounds each, with every $15 donated helping put a turkey on a family's table.
Beyond the turkeys, the event represents something even more important — neighbors helping neighbors, businesses giving back, and a community coming together to make sure kindness is shared during the holiday season.
