House Toilet Papered During Minooka Homecoming Week, Channahon Man Attacks Youth, Goes To Jail: Police

CHANNAHON, IL — It is homecoming week for a number of Joliet area high schools including Minooka and now a 50-year-old homeowner from Channahon finds himself in the Will County Jail after Channahon police arrested Terrence Davisson on charges of aggravated battery. He is accused of viciously and violently attacking an underage youth who was tossing toilet paper around his property.

According to the Channahon Police Department, Davisson was put in the Will County Jail on charges of aggravated battery following an altercation with a juvenile.

On Monday night, Channahon police said that around 10:15 p.m., the on-duty officers were dispatched to the
area of West Quail Drive and South Valley Drive for a juvenile with a facial injury reportedly caused by an adult male.

Upon arrival, officers met with a group of juveniles, one of whom had sustained an apparent facial injury. The juvenile reported he had been struck in the face by an adult male using a blunt object, the arrest report noted.

Officers learned that the incident occurred after the juveniles had covered a nearby residence with toilet paper. Witnesses reported that the adult male confronted the group during the incident, which subsequently led to the juvenile sustaining the facial injury. Channahon EMS responded to the scene to evaluate the injured juvenile. The parents of the involved juveniles were contacted and notified.

Will County Jail logs indicate that Davisson comes from the 24400 block of West Quail Drive. He will be brought over to the courthouse in an orange jail jumpsuit and shackles on Wednesday afternoon for his first court appearance.

In that case, a 41-year-old Joliet man was charged with criminal damage to property and disorderly conduct following a toilet papering incident in his subdivision in the 1000 block of Sable Ridge Road. George Espinoza is accused of going after a group of juveniles and attacking their vehicle with a baseball bat, causing significant damage.

Just before 11 p.m. Oct. 2, 2025, Joliet officers responded to the 1000 block of Sable Ridge Drive for a report of criminal damage to property. They learned that several juveniles had earlier participated in a prank involving toilet papering George Espinoza’s residence in the 8400 block of Trumbull Avenue, according to police.

During the toilet paper incident, Joliet police say Espinoza and his juvenile son confronted the group and yelled at them, prompting the teens to leave the area in a vehicle. Espinoza and his son followed the teens in a separate vehicle through the neighborhood, according to police.

After the teens parked their vehicle in a driveway of a home in the 1000 block of Sable Ridge, Espinoza got out of his vehicle and began yelling at the teens while hitting the windows as they were still in the vehicle, Joliet police spokesman Dwayne English said.

Police say Espinoza then retrieved a baseball bat from his vehicle and struck their car several times, breaking a taillight and denting the rear fender before leaving the area, the arrest report showed.

Espinoza was found at his residence and was placed into custody without incident.
