According to Augusto Boal, the Brazilian theatre artist who created Forum Theatre as a style of performance, “The theatre is a weapon, and it is the people who should wield it.” How can theatre help us build a more just world?

Join us as we consider that question–and many others–through this dynamic, interactive play focused on gun violence and intersecting social justice issues, topics that matter deeply to Loyola students. All performances will take place in the style of Forum Theatre, which is intended to spark an embodied, townhall-style exploration of the obstacles people face as they try to survive and even thrive in this complex world that we all share.
