Glenwood Man, 26, Shot To Death In Argument Outside Matteson Amazon Facility: Medical Examiner

The incident happened late Sunday night. Police say the suspect—a food delivery driver—was still at large.

MATTESON, IL — A Glenwood man was fatally shot outside a Matteson Amazon facility late Sunday, according to reports and the Cook County Medical Examiner's Office.

An argument in the parking lot of the facility at 7001 Vollmer Road occured between an employee at the Amazon facility and a food delivery driver, according to ABC7. Police said the argument turned physical, and the delivery driver shot the employee—identified by the medical examiner as Dylan Perkins, 26—several times, the outlet reported.

Amazon told Patch the employee was employed by a third-party vendor, and not employed by Amazon.
