Sauk Village Woman, 20, ID'd As Pedestrian Fatally Struck On I-394: Medical Examiner

A woman killed in a hit-and-run early Monday has been identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner.

LYNWOOD, IL — A pedestrian killed in a hit-and-run on I-394 in Lynwood Monday has been identified as a 20-year-old Sauk Village woman.

State police were called to I-394 southbound at Joe Orr Road at 12:01 a.m. Monday, for a report of a hit-and-run involving a female pedestrian. The vehicle fled the scene.

The woman—now identified by the Cook County Medical Examiner as Mariyah Ford—was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
