Paws & Pantry: A Community Pet Food Distribution & Donation Drive
Helping Pets. Supporting Families. Strengthening Our Community.
Animal Humane Advocacy is proud to partner with the Cary-Grove Food Pantry for a special community event dedicated to helping local families and their beloved pets.
We believe that no family should have to choose between putting food on their own table and feeding the animals they love. Through this collaborative effort, we're working to ease financial burdens, support responsible pet ownership, and help keep pets healthy, happy, and in the homes where they belong.
Whether you're experiencing financial hardship, looking to donate, or simply want to make a difference, we invite you to join us for a morning of compassion, generosity, and community support.

Need a Helping Paw? We're Here for You!
For families experiencing financial challenges, the cost of caring for a beloved pet can become overwhelming. Our goal is to help ease that burden by distributing donated pet food to those who need a little extra support.
Pet food assistance will be available during the event, while supplies last.
Every bag of food distributed represents more than a meal. It's an opportunity to help a family remain together, reduce the risk of pets being surrendered due to financial hardship, and provide peace of mind to pet owners facing difficult circumstances.
Want to Lend a Helping Paw? Donations Are Welcome!
Community generosity makes programs like this possible. We welcome donations from individuals, families, businesses, and organizations interested in supporting local pets and their owners.
Items We Are Collecting:
- Dry and canned dog food
- Dry and canned cat food
- Pet treats and toys
- Leashes, collars, and harnesses
- Kennel cleaning supplies
- Other essential pet care items
Human Food Donations Are Also Welcome!
In partnership with the Cary-Grove Food Pantry, we're pleased to welcome donations of human food to help support local individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.
Whether you contribute a single bag of pet food, a few cans, or a larger donation, every act of kindness helps make a meaningful difference.
More Than a Food Drive: Keeping Families Together
For many people, pets are much more than companions. They are cherished family members who provide comfort, unconditional love, and emotional support.
Unfortunately, unexpected expenses, unemployment, rising costs, and other financial challenges can make providing even basic necessities difficult.
By connecting families with pet food and essential supplies, we hope to reduce some of those pressures and help prevent unnecessary animal surrenders.
Our mission is simple: Keep food bowls full, pets healthy, and families together.
About Animal Humane Advocacy
Animal Humane Advocacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to improving animal welfare and strengthening the bond between people and their companion animals.
Through affordable veterinary vaccination clinics, pet food assistance, community outreach, education, and legislative advocacy, we work to remove barriers to responsible pet ownership while promoting compassion and humane treatment for animals.
Events like Paws & Pantry reflect our belief that meaningful animal welfare begins within our own communities, where neighbors come together to help neighbors.
Help Us Make a Difference
You don't have to make a large donation to make a lasting impact. Every contribution, volunteer effort, and shared event announcement helps us reach more families and animals in need.
We encourage community members, local businesses, animal lovers, and organizations to participate, donate, or help spread the word.
Together, we can help ensure that financial hardship never stands in the way of the love between people and their pets.
