New Grayslake SummerFest To Bring Music, Food And Family Fun Downtown

Formerly known as Grayslake Summer Days, the one-day festival will feature a parade, live entertainment, food trucks and more.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Grayslake SummerFest, formerly known as Grayslake Summer Days, will bring a day of entertainment, food and activities to historic downtown Grayslake on Saturday, Aug. 15.

The event kicks off with a parade at 2 p.m. traveling down Lake Street to Center Street in the Grayslake Village Center.

Following the parade, attendees can enjoy live music, food trucks, carnival games, a giant slide, BINGO, a beer tent hosted by the Exchange Club of Grayslake and Ronald Hill Memorial VFW Post 2245, and wine from Glunz Family Winery.

The live music lineup includes School of Rock Libertyville, Last One Standing, The Red Roses, Boy Mob and 7th Heaven, with performances scheduled throughout the afternoon and evening. The event runs until midnight.
