Darien Taco Bell Drive-Thru Sleeper Charged With DUI, Other Offenses
He then sped away when an officer showed up to the restaurant, police said.
DARIEN, IL – Darien police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
Drive-thru sleeper
- About 1:30 a.m. Thursday, an officer was called to Taco Bell, 7419 Cass Ave., about a man asleep in the drive-thru. When an officer arrived, the man sped away. He was stopped at 75th Street and Clarendon Hills Road. The 49-year-old Willowbrook man was arrested on charges of DUI, speeding, transportation and possession of open alcohol, driving with a revoked license and driving an uninsured car. He was given a court date and then released.

- An officer was called about 10:30 p.m. Saturday about damage to a car at McDonald's, 809 Plainfield Road. Police said four or five youths covered portions of the rear, top and passenger sides of the car with shaving cream, staining an area.
