District 58 Student Heads To National 'PTA Reflections Competition,' Others Place At State
Students from Downers Grove Grade School District 58 earned nods in the PTA Reflections Program, with one student heading to nationals.
DOWNERS GROVE, IL — A students Downers Grove Grade School District 58 will head to the national level of the PTA Reflections Program, and several other students were recognized during the state competition on April 18.
The students created art in multiple media inspired by this year's theme, which was "I Belong." Morgan S., who attends Hillcrest Elementary School, will Schlange will advance to the national competition for her film "Belong?"
In March, close to two dozen district students were selected to advance to the state competition.

Awards for the national competition will be announced May 1.
For more than 50 years, the PTA Reflections program has invited annual submissions from students throughout the U.S. on themes chosen by fellow students. Students compete in the categories of dance choreography, film production, literature, photography, music composition and visual arts.
