DOWNERS GROVE, IL — The Downers Grove Planning and Zoning Commission will host a public hearing on Sept. 21 to review a planned unit development and special use permit request for a nine-unit mixed-use apartment building on Forest Avenue.

The requests indicate a slight shift from Forest Pointe's original plans for the site at 5112-5120 Forest Ave. Initial designs called for a three-story, 39,000 square foot building with just six apartment units.

In March, the Planning and Zoning Commission recommended approval of the original plans with a vote of 6 to 2.
