Qargo Coffee To Open On Ogden Avenue In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Qargo Coffee is planning to open at 529 Ogden Avenue in Downers Grove. The chain specializes in Italian-inspired coffee, desserts, gelato and sandwiches.

Their coffee selection at Qargo includes espresso con panna, latte macchiato, cortado, matcha latte and more. The menu also features Crema di Caffe, a traditional Italian treat of whipped espresso cream.

For visitors with a sweet tooth, Qargo serves up frappes, such as the Italian Strawberry Frappe and the Italian Mocha Frappe. Tea, energy refresher drinks, cold brew, Nitro cold brew, and the shop's signature Black Cherry Cold Brew are also available.

Qargo offers a variety of sandwiches for breakfast, including salmone mattina with egg, guacamole and arugula, and Prosciutto Royale on ciabatta or focaccia. The lunch selection features pinsa perfetta, pesto pomodoro and other items.

Many of the desserts at Qargo are baked daily. Diners can enjoy tomato and olive danishes, pistachio croissants, lemon bars, chocolate ganache cheesecake and tiramisu.

Qargo Coffee has not yet announced an opening date for the Downers Grove location and did not immediately respond to Patch's request for more information early Friday.
