Spare Tires Nabbed From 15 Trucks In Downers Grove

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — Fifteen spare tires were stolen from trucks at a Ford dealership in Downers Grove on April 28.

Police were called to 1815 Ogden Ave. around 2:25 p.m. for a report of stolen tires. An employee told police the tires were apparently stolen from Ford Super Duty trucks in the same night.

The trucks had been parked to the east of the business facing Ogden Avenue. The stolen tires had been mounted underneath the trucks when they were removed.

The total loss was valued at $12,603.
