Elmhurst Group Raises $10K For Struggling Family
A father of four is suffering from a severe illness, so the mother is stepping in, according to a local organization.

ELMHURST, IL – The Elmhurst Knights of Columbus Council 1911 raised $10,000 for an Elmhurst family of six during its annual Poker Bike Run on July 18, the organization said.
More than 100 riders took part.
The group said the father of four is battling severe dementia. His wife has stepped away from work to care for him full time and support their children, who range from 9 months to high school age.
