Evanston Environmental Association to Host Community Film Festival Focused on Conservation and Hope
EVANSTON, IL – The Evanston Environmental Association (EEA) is proud to announce the return of its Wild and Scenic Film Festival, taking place on TWO nights this year, Friday, March 13th and Friday, March 20th at Rotary International in Evanston. This curated selection of films aims to inspire local action, celebrate the beauty of the natural world, and spark meaningful dialogue about the environmental challenges facing the North Shore and beyond.
As a staple of the Evanston community for decades, the EEA is dedicated to providing environmental education and promoting a sustainable future. This year’s festival features 18 films (9 each night), ranging from stories of restoration of endangered animals and plants to women breaking barriers in the wild.

"We believe in the power of storytelling to bridge the gap between global environmental issues and local community action," says Ashley Scott, a board member for the EEA. "Our goal is for attendees to leave the theater not just informed, but energized to protect the ecosystems right here in our own backyards—from our lakefront to our native gardens."
