North Shore Artisan Market Held on Saturday and Sunday in Winnetka

Colorful alpaca and silk hand-woven scarves were blowing over Station Park in Winnetka over the weekend.

100 artists and vendors displayed their works during the North Shore Artisan Market on Saturday and Sunday, May 30 and 31, 2026, according to Jonathan Smith, market manager.

“This is the first time we are having our market in Winnetka,” said Smith. Both days the fair was open from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. The fair will be in Oakbrook next weekend, added Smith.

Artists came from as far as Naperville. Paula Herrera said, “The hand-woven scarves were made in Peru. “The scarves are a timeless piece of clothing than transcends the seasons,” said Herrera.

Vendors included Jackie Lyhe owner of Lemah Creek Naturals CBD company, jewelers, pottery creators, and local restaurants.

“The weather and the location were perfect—I really liked the variety of artists and vendors,” said Diane Gosser, an artist who has been living in Glenview for 30 years.

The Winnetka Music Festival is June 19 and 20, featuring major musicians and artists in downtown Winnetka.
