Police said the man had no identification on him or medical alert bracelets, and was unfamiliar to them from past calls for service.

The man is not responding to deputies or medical personnel who arrived to check on his welfare, and the sheriff's office has been unable to identify him, officials said in an alert.

The sheriff's office said local agencies have been contacted about possible missing persons, but none have any any reports matching the man's description.

According to officials, the man appears to be 60 to 70 years old and is 5'5" and 140 pounds with a gray beard and mustache. He is wearing a brown knit sweater vest over a checkered short sleeve button down shirt, with black pajama-type pants and black sandals.

Anyone wishing to contact the Sheriff's Office directly with information leading to this man's identification is asked to call 815-727-8575.
