Free Community Shred Event Planned In Frankfort

Secure, on-site shredding for personal documents will be offered, the Village shared.

FRANKFORT, IL — Mayor Keith Ogle and the Village Board will host a free community shred event in September, the Village shared on its Facebook.

The drive-thru event will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. on Sept. 19, at the Village Administration Building, 432 W. Nebraska St.

Secure, on-site shredding for personal documents will be offered, the Village shared. There is a two-box limit per vehicle and boxes should be copy-paper size.

The Village advised arriving early, as the event might end before 11 a.m. if the shredding truck reaches capacity.
