We are absolutely thrilled to announce that we have not just one, but four talented Bakers who will be lending their skills and creativity to our Bake stand this year. 
Their diverse baking styles and expertise will surely elevate our offerings and provide a delightful experience for everyone who visits. Each Baker brings something unique to the stand ensuring that our selection will be both varied and delicious.
Mark your calendars because we will officially open our Bake stand at 10:00&nbsp; AM on the 11 July. This date is fast approaching, and we are eagerly preparing for what promises to be an exciting day filled with mouthwatering treats and joyful interactions with our community. 
We can’t wait to welcome everyone and share our passion for baking!

 We rely on this stand to help us raise funds and awareness to the Medically and Homebound confined Veterans
This year, we are particularly excited to share that a local farmer has generously agreed to donate fresh eggs for our Bake stand! This addition will not only enhance the quality of our baked goods but also support local agriculture.. 

Breads Cookies Cakes Jams Trail mixes and several Hand Pies Flavors Scones and More&nbsp;
To complement these baked goods, we will also offer seasoning herbs, perfect for enhancing your culinary creations at home. 
And let’s not forget about skincare products! We believe in holistic wellness, and our skincare offerings will reflect that philosophy. Theresa Phillips Is a Certified Skincare Formulator and DONATES to Be A Hero To A Hero Proceeds. Theresa Was at thePainted Tree in Bloomingdale and it closed So she will have a small tent with products for you to try&nbsp;

The Arcada Theatre is turning 100 on September 6th. To celebrate, we are having a grand parade through the downtown streets of St. Charles. We’ll TWIST with Chubby Checker…We’ll party like Ferris Bueller…We’ll celebrate rock and roll with Vinny Appice (of Black Sabbath and Dio) and Carmine Appice (of Vanilla Fudge)…AND, We’ll Cheer, Dance and Celebrate with the community and special guests.
The parade will kick off at 3PM just west of the Fox River and proceed past the theatre. This is a free event, and everyone is invited to attend!

For more than 50 years, the Knights of Columbus Council #2191 has partnered with the Geneva and Batavia communities through its annual Campaign for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities, commonly known as the Tootsie Roll Drive.
From Thursday, September 10 through Sunday, September 13, volunteers wearing the Knights’ signature yellow safety vests will be collecting donations throughout Geneva and Batavia at churches, businesses, major intersections, restaurants, grocery stores, and community gathering places.
Please note: The address listed for this event is the primary calendar location only. Collection sites will be located throughout the Geneva and Batavia communities during the four-day campaign.
As a thank-you for each donation, supporters will receive a Tootsie Roll—a symbol of one of the Knights of Columbus’ longest-standing charitable traditions.
Every dollar raised remains in the local community, supporting organizations that provide education, recreation, employment services, residential care, therapeutic programs, and opportunities for greater independence for individuals with intellectual disabilities.

The first 100 kids to participate in the Window Nation “Kids Mad Dash” will receive a free kite courtesy of Gift of Wings and Window Nation! Watch as 100 colorful kites launch into the sky at the same time — it’s a sight you won’t want to miss. We will need a volunteer to untangle lines. Can I count on you 😊
Gift of Wings will also have a full selection of kites and delicious food available for purchase throughout the weekend.
