Glen Ellyn Man Charged With Murder In Fatal Shooting Of Woman In Chicago

GLEN ELLYN, IL — A Glen Ellyn man has been charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Da'J Flowers, 36, in Chicago's West Ridge neighborhood in early February.

Darreon Plummer, 33, of the 500 block of West Pershing Avenue, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals Sept. 16 in the 10000 block of O'Hare Avenue in Chicago, according to a news release.

Plummer's arrest comes after a months-long investigation into the death of Flowers, who was found shot to death in her condo in the 6900 block of North Bell Avenue on Feb. 5.
