Glen Ellyn Man Used 'Racially Derogatory Language' Used During Disorderly Conduct Incident: Cops
Police say they received 911 calls earlier the same day reporting the man had been behaving suspiciously and acting unusual.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — A Glen Ellyn man was charged with disorderly conduct after an incident in which police say he used "derogatory racist language" toward a delivery driver.
Police say they started getting 911 calls around 3 p.m. Saturday reporting that Martin S. Gertchev had been "acting suspicious and exhibiting unusual behavior," a news release said. Gertchev declined "available resources" and none of the callers chose to pursue criminal charges, according to police.
Glen Ellyn police got a call around 8 p.m. that night reporting a disorderly conduct incident in which Gertchev is accused of uysing "derogatory racist language" toward a delivery driver.

Gertchev was taken into custody and then released.
