Maryknoll Splash Park Will Not Open For 2026 Season
The splash park, which was set to reopen on May 23, will stay closed this year.
GLEN ELLYN, IL — Maryknoll Splash Park will not be open for the 2026 season, according to a recent update from the Glen Ellyn Park District.
The splash park was set to reopen on May 23, but infrastructure problems were found during maintenance to the park's "pump and mechanical area" that will require "substantial infrastructure work," the update said.
"Addressing these foundational needs now will help support the long-term operation of the Splash Park and ensure the facility can continue serving the community for years to come," the Park District shared.
