GLENVIEW, IL — Three businesses have recently opened new locations in Glenview, bringing a medical aesthetics practice, a dog wellness center and a restaurant specializing in food fried with beef tallow to the community.

The Glenview Chamber of Commerce held ribbon-cutting ceremonies for Beauty with Bubbly Med Spa on June 25, Scenthound on July 8 and Tallowing on July 16.

Beauty With Bubbly Med Spa

Beauty with Bubbly Med Spa opened at 2350 Lehigh Ave., Suite 101B.

The practice was founded and is operated by Angela Puric, an advanced practice registered nurse with more than 10 years of experience as a nurse practitioner, according to the business.

Beauty with Bubbly offers Botox, Dysport, dermal fillers, laser hair removal, microneedling, body sculpting and other skin and cosmetic treatments. It also offers medical weight-loss appointments through telehealth.

Tallowing opened at 2528 Waukegan Road.

The restaurant fries its chicken, fries and other menu items exclusively in beef tallow rather than vegetable oil.

Its menu includes traditional and boneless wings, chicken tenders, classic and spicy chicken sandwiches, seasoned fries, loaded fries and family meals. The restaurant also offers a hot honey biscuit sandwich made with a cheddar biscuit, crispy chicken, jalapeño American cheese, pickles and house-made sauce, with only 30 available each day.

Traditional wings are marinated and smoked before frying, while boneless wings and tenders are marinated in buttermilk and hand-breaded. Sauces and dips are made in-house, according to the restaurant.
