Grayslake Releases Video Addressing Data Center Questions

Village officials detail the approval process, environmental concerns and projected financial impact of the $18 billion development.

GRAYSLAKE, IL — Grayslake officials have released a new informational video detailing the massive data center campus approved for the village and addressing residents’ questions about the controversial development.

The presentation provides an overview of the history of the Cornerstone property, the approval process and regulatory oversight, along with environmental, infrastructure and financial aspects of the project.

Village officials said the presentation was originally prepared for an extended public comment session that could not be held because of circumstances outside the village’s control. Officials said they released the video to give residents another way to learn about the approved project.
