Man, 30, Dies In Early Morning Shooting In Lake County: Coroner
The shooting happened inside a home early Friday in Ingleside.
INGLESIDE, IL — A 30-year-old Ingleside man was killed in a shooting early Friday morning, and the Lake County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Sheriff’s deputies were called around 3:10 a.m. Friday to a disturbance in progress in the 25900 block of West Laneville Drive. While deputies were responding, 911 dispatchers learned someone inside the home had been shot, according to a news release from the Lake County Coroner's Office.
When deputies arrived, they found a man inside the residence suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

The Lake County Coroner’s Office responded and later identified the victim as Joshua Strong, 30, of Ingleside. An autopsy performed Friday at the Lake County Coroner’s Office determined Strong died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the coroner’s office.
The shooting remains under investigation by the Lake County Sheriff’s Office. No additional information was immediately released.
