Mysterious Tree Trimmer: Highland Park Crime Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

THEFT

• Personal Property - May 21 at 8:55 p.m.
  • A resident who had eaten at Norton's, located at 1905 Sheridan Rd., reported that their wallet was stolen while they were eating. The estimated value of the wallet is $300.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

• Property - May 24 at 12:15 p.m.
  • Police responded to the parking garage at Renaissance Place to investigate damage. The reporting party told police that somebody had taken several fire extinguishers and used them inside the garage.
• Property - May 24 at 5:24 p.m.
  • A resident living in the 50-100 block of Laurel Avenue reported that an unknown person had cut several tree branches on their property.
