Sneaky Curbside Heist: Highland Park Crime Blotter

HIGHLAND PARK, IL — The following is the most recent crime blotter from the Highland Park Police Department.

THEFT

• Property - July 28 at 12:55 p.m.
  • A resident living in the 600 block of Green Bay Road told police they had left items on the curb in front of their home for a specific person to pick up, but someone else took them. The items were worth around $2,200, police estimated.
• Property - July 30 at 4:48 p.m.
  • Staff at the CVS located at 1539 Clavey Rd. told police that a woman took $3,500 worth of merchandise without paying.

CRIMINAL DAMAGE

• Vehicle - July 29 at 1:34 p.m.
  • A resident said the hood of their car was scratched overnight while it was parked in the 400 block of Park Avenue.
