Victorian Village To Participate In Full-Scale Emergency Evacuation Drill With Local First Responders
Victorian Village to host full-scale evacuation drill with local first responders to strengthen emergency preparedness and resident safety.

Victorian Village, a Providence Life Services Community, will partner with the Village of Homer Glen and the Northwest Homer Fire Protection District to conduct a full-scale emergency evacuation drill on Tuesday, April 28, beginning at approximately 9:30 a.m.
This coordinated training exercise will take place on the Victorian Village campus, with evacuation efforts focused on the Grand residence. The drill is designed to evaluate emergency preparedness, strengthen response coordination, and ensure the continued safety and well-being of residents, staff, and visitors.
Multiple fire departments and emergency personnel will participate. As part of the exercise:

- Portions of 143rd Street may be temporarily impacted
- Emergency vehicles and personnel will be active on and around campus
- Nearby staging will occur in the Meijer parking lot
- “Drill in Progress” signage will be clearly posted throughout the area
Residents, families, and staff have been notified in advance, and all activities are part of a planned training exercise only. There is no cause for alarm.
“This drill is an important opportunity to practice and strengthen our emergency response procedures in collaboration with our local first responders,” said Jamie Krieps, Executive Director. “The safety of our residents and staff is always our top priority.”
