Event Details
Course is structured to have an overview about how to hold the sticks, where to hit the bucket for the best sound, learn different rhythms, and learn various music symbols like notes and rests. Students will:
- Learn rhythms
- Learn timing/rests
- Learn to play rhythms in every song
- Keeping tempo
- Learns to play as one drum (ensemble)
- The fundamentals of basic percussion
- Become a part of a community
Bucket Drumming is a recurring event that happens on a monthly basis at Melody Mart. This class is suited for all ages. This is a low-pressure, fun, and relaxing group event.
Buckets are provided as well as sticks, however if you’d like to bring in your own, you are welcome to. Additionally, we offer private drum lessons for our more enthusiastic students. Once you register, you can enjoy the event!
Usually this event is $20 for non-melody mart students but for the month of April and May, it will be FREE thanks to the Palumbo Family! RSVP is required!
