Old Fashion Goes Pink: Breast Cancer Awareness Community Event

Kick off Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Old Fashion Goes Pink, a free community event celebrating courage, raising awareness and bringing our community together in support of those impacted by breast cancer.

Join Old Fashion Donuts & Cafe and the Cancer Support Center on Thursday, October 1 at 7 p.m. at Old Fashion Donuts & Cafe, 18123 Harwood Ave. in Homewood.

Wear pink and enjoy an evening featuring pink donuts, music from a DJ and an opportunity to connect with the community. Breast cancer survivors will also receive a special gift donated by Sistahs S.T.R.O.N.G.

Representatives from the Cancer Support Center will be on-site to share information about the programs, services and resources available to individuals and families impacted by cancer. CSC provides counseling, nutrition, fitness and physical wellness, education and networking, family support and more. - All at no cost.

Come celebrate courage, sprinkle some awareness and help remind our neighbors that no one should face cancer alone.
