Missing Boy, 15, Found Safe, Reunited With Family: Homewood PD
Homewood police on Tuesday afternoon used bloodhounds and a drone to look for the teen. He was found safe as of Tuesday evening.
HOMEWOOD, IL — A Homewood teen reported missing Tuesday morning is safe and has been reunited with family, police said Tuesday evening.
Police said on social media they were looking for a 15-year-old last seen Tuesday around 10:30 a.m. in the area of 183rd and Dixie Highway. He was believed to be on foot at the time.
Police initially said they used bloodhounds and a drone in the search, with no results, officials said.

It was unclear where or how the boy was located, but police thanked the community for its support.
"Thank you to all the members of the nearby communities who assisted with getting him home!" police said on social media.
