New Joliet Dispensary To Donate 100% Of Grand Opening Profits To Charity

JOLIET, IL — A new local business is opening its doors in Joliet, but instead of focusing on sales, it plans to focus on giving back.
Bisa Lina Cannabis Dispensary will celebrate its official Joliet Grand Opening on Saturday, May 30, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., with a community-wide charity event benefiting several local and national nonprofit organizations. Most notably, the dispensary has pledged to donate 100% of its profits from the day to charity.
The event will feature free food, live entertainment, giveaways, adoptable dogs from local rescue organizations, and festivities throughout the day.
Adding to the celebration, members of the legendary WBMX Hot Mix 5 will be spinning music throughout the day. The iconic Chicago DJ collective helped pioneer House Music beginning in 1981 and played a pivotal role in shaping Chicago's internationally recognized dance music culture.
"We wanted our first day in Joliet to be about more than just opening a business," said Kuntal Shah, Co-Founder and COO of Bisa Lina. "This community has welcomed us, and we wanted to create an event that gives back in a meaningful way. Every purchase made that day will help support organizations doing incredible work in our community."

The new dispensary is located at 2121 W. Jefferson Street in Joliet and will offer one of the largest cannabis selections in the area, along with a customer-focused shopping experience designed to make cannabis accessible, affordable, and welcoming for both new and experienced consumers.
Bisa Lina currently operates a successful dispensary in Carol Stream and has built a reputation for community involvement, customer service, and The Lowest Prices in the State.
