La Grange Park Attic Fire Causes $75K In Damage: Department
The home's occupants got out before firefighters arrived, and no injuries were reported, authorities said.

LA GRANGE PARK, IL – A house fire on Wednesday night in La Grange Park caused an estimated $75,000 in damage, the fire department said.
But the people at home got out safely before firefighters arrived, according to a department news release.
Firefighters were called shortly after 8 p.m. Wednesday to 305 N. Stone Ave. for a report of smoke coming from a vent at the home.

Firefighters found the fire in the attic, the department said. It was put out within about 20 minutes. Firefighters stayed for nearly two hours to make sure the fire was out.
No injuries were reported.

The exact cause of the fire remains under investigation, according to the fire department.
